All products that are advertised on the FSC Marketplace should be FSC certified. Companies are solely responsible for their entries in the FSC Marketplace. FSC does not take responsibility for the correctness and completeness or quality of such entries. We recommend that you always check the validity of products claiming to be FSC certified by looking for the label and checking the invoice.

No. The FSC Marketplace advertises only FSC certified products that are registered in the FSC Certificate Database (info.fsc.org). Products that are not FSC certified may not be advertised on the Marketplace.

Each profile is connected to one FSC Certificate. A FSC Group Certificate has a single corresponding profile on the FSC Marketplace. This profile covers all group members and sites under the scope of the certificate.

Yes. If you would like to display your business separately from the group profile, please contact your Certificate Manager. The Certificate Manager can enable members of a group to activate their own individual profiles.

The Certificate Manager represents the group and manages the group certificate on behalf of the members. The Certificate Manager can create the Marketplace profile for the group. The Certificate Manager can also update the profiles of the different group members based on their input or give permission to individual group members to manage their own profiles.

It is possible to list all of your sites on the FSC marketplace. Sites that are covered by your FSC Certificate will be listed in ‘My Marketplace/Manage certificates’. If you do not see all of your sites there, please ask your Certification Body to add the missing sites to the scope of your certificate in the FSC Certificate Database.

Please contact your national Marketplace contact point to learn what options are available for your country.

Please enter the Latin scientific name or English common name into the search field ‘Species.’ At the moment, the species search function is only available in Latin and English.

Premium profiles will appear in search results before basic profiles. Both premium and basic profiles will be listed in random order.

Multi-site CoC certification is for organizations operating multiple sites, allowing Certification Bodies to evaluate sites based on samples in recognition of existing common, centrally administered and monitored control and reporting systems.

Group CoC certification is for groups of independent “small” organizations, allowing Certification Bodies to evaluate participating operations (members) based on samples in recognition of existing common, centrally administered and monitored control and reporting systems.

Small and community refers to products that originate from FSC certified small or community producers. Small and community producers include those who have a small area of forest, harvests timber at a low-intensity, or are part of a community who owns and manages a forest, or agrees as a group to let a third party manage the forest for them. Small and Community producers are, for example, known as small woodlot owners, family foresters, small non-industrial private forest owners, community forestry operators and non-timer forests product harvesters.

If you don’t get any search results this means that this product has not yet been listed on the FSC Marketplace, but it does not mean that this product does not exist. The FSC Marketplace profiles are filled by FSC certified businesses, so it might just be that no FSC certified business has yet registered the product you are looking for. If you cannot find what you are looking for, you can contact the FSC National Office in your country or you can email us to marketplace@fsc.org to let us know what it is that you are looking for.

If you're still having trouble we suggest that you contact one of our participating National Offices who will be able to help you out.
A list of the participating national partners is on the Contact Us page.
